Welcome to Sunny Days and Lunch Trays! I live in the sunny state of Florida and love it here - even those relentless hot and humid days. I have been an elementary teacher for over ten years, and cannot imagine doing anything else. I have had the opportunity to teach various grade levels K-5, and find delight with children of all ages. There is nothing like seeing the excitement of a first grade coming into school, but it is also super satisfying to have real conversations with fifth graders!
I am extremely passionate about student engagement, and try to make student learning full of meaning while having fun! I think humor is the best recipe in a classroom, and helps me to make wonderful connections with my students. When I am not teaching or creating products, I enjoy spending time with my family and adorable dog. I love going on walks, especially with an ice cream or iced coffee in my hand!
