Valentine's Day Worksheets

Hey loves!

So in case you didn't know, I love celebrating holidays in the classroom.  It is so fascinating to see the excitement in each of my student's eyes! But honestly, I think I might enjoy celebrating these days more than them! Shhh!

I love doing all sorts of activities with my students, but my favorite way to start Valentine's Day is by placing these Valentine's Day worksheets on my students' desks for when they walk into our classroom in the morning.

I think Valentine's Day is a special holiday to remind our students the importance of friendship and love more than any of the other holidays that fall during the school year. I spend all day celebrating this holiday with my kiddos, and I am SO excited that it falls on a Friday.  No school the next day, woohoo! I mean, honestly, all elementary teachers should have off the day after a holiday. People have NO idea how exhausting, but fun, celebrating holidays with students is! Sorry, back on topic now....

I print these valentine activities out on pink paper usually, just to bring out the holiday a bit more! But if you do not have colored paper, white works just as well.  Sometimes white paper leads to students feeling more creative to decorate their papers with crayons, markers or colored pencils.

I've used these Valentine's Day sheets with first grade up through fifth grade. All ages love this.  These worksheets for Valentine's Day could be used with younger ones, but it would require a bit of assistance (even some of my first graders needed help).  But, to be completely honest, I like doing the sheets with the students because then we get to celebrate together! Isn't that the exciting part!?

Anyways, if you are interested in purchasing, I really hope you are able to enjoy these Valentine's Day printables with your students. You can find them by clicking on this link, or visiting my TPT store. Please add some comments on how you like to celebrate Valentine's Day...I'd love to get some new, fresh ideas!

Now I'm off to start preparing for our sweet Valentine's Day exchange! I like to get a head's start!

xoxo
